Valley View take great pride in being capable of handling any project and in particular sticking to an agreed budget. We handle a diverse range of work from large to small projects. Below is some examples, showing the project in various stages of completion.
 

CASE STUDY 1:

Our clients purchased the above property with the sole intention of carrying out extensive refurbishment and extension works.

We were involved with the project from the start. We carried out an initial feasibility study ensuring the client’s needs were met. From this our in-house design team created a complete set of Cad drawings suitable for submission for Planning Approval. Once Planning Permission was obtained we provided Structural Engineering Details to obtain Building Regulations Approval.

The Works:

We removed the rear and side flank walls and constructed a large rear extension to open plan the new kitchen and family room area. We also refurbished the remainder of the project. These works included a completely new central heating and hot water installation, a complete new electrical installation, new traditional sliding sash double glazed windows throughout, installation of a new kitchen, installation of a new bathroom and cloakroom, extensive re-plastering, new cornice works, Oak Flooring and decorating. Works also included external landscaping and construction of a new front drive to facilitate off street parking.

Contract duration 8 months.

We are currently in the process of obtaining planning permission for a large loft conversion. Works should commence works on site spring 2007.

CASE STUDY 2:
 

Our clients purchased the above property with the sole intention of carrying out extensive refurbishment and extension works. In fact our first meeting and feasibility study took place on site the day they obtained the keys!

Our in-house design team created a complete set of Cad drawings suitable for submission for Planning Approval. Once Planning Permission was obtained we provided Structural Engineering Details to obtain Building Regulations Approval.

The Works:

We removed the side flank wall and constructed a substantial extension, with structural glass roof feature over, to open plan the new kitchen and family room area. We simultaneously constructed a large loft conversion creating 2No double bedrooms and a bathroom. We also formed a new utility area to the side of the property. We also refurbished the remainder of the property. These works included a completely new central heating and hot water installation, a complete new electrical installation, new traditional sliding sash double glazed windows throughout, installation of a new kitchen, installation of a new family bathroom and en-suite bathroom at first floor level and a cloakroom at ground floor level, extensive re-plastering, new cornice works, Solid Walnut Flooring, ceramic floor tiling and decorating works. Works also included extensive external landscaping to the rear garden and external decorating.

Contract duration 10 months.
