STUDY 1:
Our clients purchased the above
property with the sole intention of carrying out
extensive refurbishment and extension works.
We were involved with the project
from the start. We carried out an initial feasibility
study ensuring the client’s needs were met.
From this our in-house design team created a complete
set of Cad drawings suitable for submission for
Planning Approval. Once Planning Permission was
obtained we provided Structural Engineering Details
to obtain Building Regulations Approval.
The Works:
We removed the rear and side
flank walls and constructed a large rear extension
to open plan the new kitchen and family room area.
We also refurbished the remainder of the project.
These works included a completely new central
heating and hot water installation, a complete
new electrical installation, new traditional sliding
sash double glazed windows throughout, installation
of a new kitchen, installation of a new bathroom
and cloakroom, extensive re-plastering, new cornice
works, Oak Flooring and decorating. Works also
included external landscaping and construction
of a new front drive to facilitate off street
parking.
Contract duration 8 months.
We are currently in the
process of obtaining planning permission for a
large loft conversion. Works should commence works
on site spring 2007. |
